Anyone know of a place where I can buy lighted AMG door sills rather than the standard Mercedes-Benz lighted door sills? My dealer can't get them.

I've seen them on Ebay a few times.. just keep checking every now and then.

I've the offical AMG catalogue from Germany. I was looking for the AMG illuminated sills to replace my Mercedes Benz illuminated sills too. But according to my catalogue, the lighted door sills only available for the CLK and E and S class, there's an AMG door sill for the W203 but it's not lighted. The one that people found on eBay are probably fake.

John, since you're custom ordering your car, you should be able to ask yr dealer to make a remark on yr order that the customer wants AMG door sills instead of Mercedes Benz. I dont think your car has been built yet.
If they cant do anything about it, let me know, I'll try to find the part number for you. I saw that AMG sills on display at one of my local MB parts dept.

My dealer has not received the 2003 options list, and won't receive them until one month before production starts. When they receive it they are going to give me a call and I will go in there to go over everything again, however, I will call tomorrow about the AMG door sills.

if anyone is interested in the illuminated door sills please email me at rx7tt@wt.net... Before anyone asks, currently for our C32's only the mercedes ones are available if you want illuminated but if you want AMG, can get those too but it won't be illuminated..I am trying to do a group buy... Hopefully prices should be around 250 give or take 20 bucks for shipping.... oh and by the way choices of color are green, blue and yellow...
