One of my first 'attainable dream cars' i.e., "I'm gonna get one of these someday when I have money" cars was the 4 door M3 back in the early 90's...of course, as i drive around in the awesome C55, I often think back to those days and ask myself, "Self, if a 4 door M3 were to be available again, would you give this car up for it?". The verdict's still out on that one, I would have to drive one first. But it is tempting...decisions, decisions...

I don't like the stigma that goes with the M3, neither do I care for the looks... My favorite M3 continues to be the E30. It's a shame that BMW is leaving their roots and losing the magic that made their cars so unique... Being that a fully loaded E46 M3 costs $62,595 (according to BMWusa.com), how much will this cost? $67K?

Yep, I vouch for that, but I'd extent the age to about 18-30..
