looking for a C36

Hello,

I am looking to buy a C36 in the coming months, and I have found that they are annoyingly rare. If anyone, anywhere in America looking to sell one, I am willing to look in to every option.

Thank you.

where are you located? I have one in LA, CA black on black 97 C36 with 51k on it. I may be interested in selling it if the price is right-the car is in perfect shape.

I am located in Chicago, but would be willing to go pretty far for one for the right price. They are exremely hard to find. THe one I am looking at right now is a black on black with 80000 miles in Florida for 13900. There is also someone on another forum that I am waiting to hear back from about one with 88000 miles for 10,000 dollars.

97 C36 is the ticket.C36 can be notorious for head gasket issues, but a nice car none the less.If not get a C43(302hp).Easier to find and more power.Ebay,Auto trader. For a lil more hp add powerchip to C43(322 hp).Want even more power, drop in a 5.5L (349hp,391ftlbs tq)like me,then powerchip(373 hp,418 ftlbs tq@ crank)! This swap can obviously only be done in a C43.

Hey there MBWorld. I'm also on the "snoop" for a nice clean 97/96 C36. I'd prefer silver but I could be swayed for black.

I'm trying the search now but in the meantime if anyone has any suggestions or details on Warranties for these puppies please let me know. I've read about the tranny, head gasket etc issues and I just want to be sure if I jump on board I'm covered.

Thanks in advance
Steve

I would give serious consideration to buying a C43 instead, easier & cheaper to upgrade, more HP nicer exhaust note, ETC.

Yes,

As a matter a fact few years ago when I looked at MBUSA is used to say 528 or something around that number.

This number 444 I got is from MBUSA.com

I have a perfect 1995 C36. It's an amazing car. Got updated engine harness in 2000. The interior is perfect... I have 105000 on it now. I'm not sure I would part with it. I'd want more then the other prices you have gotten.

This car is such a bargain. It's resale doesn't give it justice and I can't beleive people want to part with them at such prices. I don't get why the E36 M3 resale is so much more when the C36 is so much more of a car.

I'm located in Michigan...
