Molds should be done this week. So, I'm going to have 2 sets made for me first the following week. I'll post it on e-bay. I'm only going to ask for at cost.

Project is taking longer than expected. The 3 small pieces are complete (ECU cover, expanstion tank cover,and windshield fluid reservoir cover. The mold for the actual engine cover had to be done by hand because we could not find a big enough tooling to accomodate it for vacuum forming. I was promised that it will be done this Friday.
As you guys can see, it's hard to justify selling these kits cheap like the plastic imitations that you see all over e-bay (or a recently sold slightly deformed product for $182). My overall cost for the tooling is over $3,000. To me, it's worth it and it's worth the wait. I still have 2 kits for the supercharged 5.5 L AMG engines and I'm selling them for $550 each. That's the lowest that the manufacturer would sell them for or else he also loses money. If anyone you know may be interested in this kits, let me know. The manufacturer will probably not make anymore because the demand is quite low or to zero and we're all losing money listing it on e-bay and having them sit on the shelf. Too many people are saying they are interested in buying, but as soon as the product is available, they flake out.
