yep its another c55 conversion. Just got my car back last week and its been a blast to drive. Thought I'd share some pics of the swap. I'll be posting some pics of the car once its cleaned.

yeah thats a funny pic. No track times, haven't been there yet. but like i said, much more responsive! there is no lag when u kick down a gear and it pulls and pull like no other.

I'm running Kumho MX's. They're not that bad. Really grippy in the begining, but kinda wear out fast. I need new rear tires with after just putting 15k miles on them. I think I might go with some bridgestone re750s for longer tread life.

 

i had those tires.....i miss them so freaking much.... great tire. sticky, great wet performance.....these Dunlop SP Sport FM901's suck ***...just got them less, than 100 miles on them.....

I have pirelli's .I lie the ay the side wall on the front tire sticks out on yours.My pirelli does'nt so it looks as if the front tire is too small for the rim.I guess different brands of tire have different shaped sidewalls.

 

haha yeah i know. I just got her a promise ring to hold her over til i get a real one. I still think she'll be pissed at the cost, but she'll love driving it more often

OMG I am loving this car more and more!!!!!

So today I was in Foster City with my girl and we weren't having a good day. We were both kinda upset, so the car ride wasn't that fun. We were at a light and I hear this mustang pull up to me at the light. It sounded mean and it was blown. I mean it was really mean sounding. More then just a exhaust system, mebe headers and ITB and some other stuff. I could hear the whine of the super charger too. There was some kid driving it and he was really obnoxious. Reving his engine all over the place and inching foward at the light. He was half way in the intersection and it was still red. The light turns green and he takes off. He was quick, but for some reason it sounded much faster then it look.
I get to next light and by then my girlfriend and I stoped our conversation and were really annoyed with this guy. And once again he's reving and inching foward at the light.... he's on my right side and we're turning left into the freeway on ramp. He floors it when it turns green and I let him get a jump. Then I floor it when he's about a cars length ahead and I just steadly pull on him till I'm 3 cars lengths ahead. I know he was trying to catch up to me because he's trying so hard to catch up.

Finally merged onto the freeway and shut it down to cruising speed.... And I see him in my rear view mirror tearing up the ramp still trying to catch up. He flys by me and I turn and see his face of utter disbelief. I saw him turn his head with his jaw to the floor and just look at me in shock! His look on his face was priceless!!! He couldn't believe he just lost to some small 4 door automatic benz Man I love this new 5.4L motor!!!! After that there was a SL55 that was behind us at the light and he drove by me and gave me a

I then turned to my girlfiend and said I was sorry I couldn't help myself and she just turned to me and started laughing and said, "I was gonna ask up to do that to shut that guy up." That just made both of our bad days so much better....
