Addition to the Family

Hey guys,

Found one!!!. Going to pick it up this saturday. It's about 500 miles away. Grabbing a cheap flight and driving her home.

98' C43 silver with black/white interior

44,300 miles- I worked $17500 which I am comfortable with.

I'll be sure to post pics.

Looking for springs and wheels as of now. I see many use H&R/koni and others, what do you guys think of the kits that tuners sell like Kleemann/Renntech??? Matched spring/shocks???

Also, what about camber adjustments???

kleemann/brabus/renntech are over priced. Get some H&R with bilstein and u'll be set. also u'll need camber kit from speedybenz (speedybenz.com) to fix camber. this is my current setup and it looks like this:

my car is on the left and on the right is a stock C43 for comparison. Also I'm running #4 pads in the back and #3 in the front. You can go lower if you use smaller pads

That Stance looks perfect. I had a feeling the tuner springs were no better, just more $$. Had to ask.

That stock C43 looks lifted next to yours. I think I will run the same setup, exactly what I was looking for. Did you install yourself???

Are those the stock 17's or upgradded 18's??

THANKS GUYS!!

I had friends install it for me. After watching them, it doesn't look that hard to do if u know what u're doing. We did the install with 2 floor jacks and air tools tho. The rims are the stock 17's. They don't look that small, but I'm looking to go 18's soon.

Looks like it did the day it was bought. Probably going to work in some H&R's and Bilsteins in the next couple weeks.
