i think people were referring to your photoshoped chromies as being rice, and the argument back and forth probably blew things out of hand - from both sides but i'm not going to go into that.

in my opinion, your car looks clean, i would definately lowered it though. the grille has a clean look and it flows, some people paint it all black, i can't see why you can't paint yours silver - looks good. lastly, i think your original darker tailights went better with your current setup meaning, it went with the wheels and the darker tint, makes the rear more subtle and blend better overall and again, the new tail lights are different, looks kooo but its just stands out too much from rest of the car. my philosophy is as long as i'm happy with my setup, i couldn't give **** what others think.

I am simply a fan of the stock brushed wheels, although, I would prefer mine to be 18's and to have the ride lowered, otherwise, looks good. I do kinda prefer the handles and pillars being black, gives contrast rather than it all the same color as on your photoshop, but different strokes.

Looks good, but I'm a fan of silver and black. If I were you I slam that car to make it even more aggresive.

You might want to give people more then 15 mins to reply... Some of us have lives and jobs and don't sit in front of the computer all day.

And so you want to know if your car is rice or not, but we can't tell u if it is?

knvs i was just posting more pics,, i acn only do 5 at a time.. and i work too man.. we all do... linux, i hear yah. i have those rims tho and i dont think i could sell them to well so i have to see what they look like.. and the tails, i almost agree with you on the sticking out, there bright , but once the chrome wheels are on it should take away from them a bit, and oh god yes it needs to be lowered, im still soo confused at what set up im gonna do, springs and such... i like my black rims, i want 19's i like the brushed look too but i cant afford new rims, if i could id get some brabus split spoke rims,, i love those.. one day,
and as for the painting,, i have to do the door handles, my biggest pet peev about benz is their cheap *** black plastic stuff like grills, door handles, body stuff, cheaps out at the very last second i think so ill be doin the door handles for sure, and the sprayer nozles on the hood silver, but as far as the door pillars go, the fake carbon fiber factory ones are starting to wear and it seems so cheap *** that they arent real carbon fiber, id consider seeing silver carbon fiber ones... black is nice too , i just have to change them for sure cause that fake crap bugs me. and my spoiler on my window.. im really close to taking it off.... im not sure what i think about it. i love it from a side profile, but i kinda hate it from 4 o'clock u know what i mean?... we'll see what happens... i have ideas running through my head every second haha, thanks for the comments, i like that much better, much nicer replies

bilstein sport shocks with brabus springs. can't remember what spring pad i used though cause its been awhile, but i think it might have been #4 - there are 4 different sizes for the spring pads. i went with the bilstein sport (yellows) because they had shorter shaft which is better for lowered cars, it will not bottom out and will still provide good shock travel when coupled with lowered springs.

I would lower it with H&R or Ebiach springs. If your C43 has low miles you might be able to keep your stock AMG stocks. Also you can select from 3 to 4 different kind of spring pads to lower your Benz even more. I have the lowest #1, 5mm spring pads. They cost about $7 each at the dealer.
If you keep your rear lights you could always tint the white sections to give it back the OEM AMG looks so that way you have the best of both worlds.

I think they cost about $250 US and there is always some on Ebay or used in the classifieds. I have switched my springs myself but the first time my mechanic did if for me and charged me $125 U.S. about 1.5 hours.
If I were you I would keep the pads only one a part. Like 1 up front and 2 in back. 2 in the back is perfect if you have subs in the trunk because of the extra weight.

What 2h for front and 2h for the back? this takes 1h max for 4 springs and not more? You don't evan need special tools!

I like Koni because you can adjust the rebound settings. I have the rears a little bit stiffer than the front to create more oversteer, MB's tend to have way too much understeer and having staggered wheels creates even more understeer.
I have heard the choosing the right shipping company can make a difference. I know many U.S. companys that ship to Canada use the United States Postal Services because there are less hassles. I'm sure you could put up a post in the Off Topic forum and someone should be able to help you get around the taxes into your country.
BTW, I have 5% tint but I swear it feels like 3%. This is the darkest tint I have every had. I think it might be Johnson or Lumar.

newbie, I am with you on the fake carbon, why not just make that piece black? I would love to do some carbon pieces on the pillars that match my steering wheel, but those cost money and I am actually the one in the group not working at the moment.

Also, for the nasty looking black stuff on the Benz, you might try this stuff, I think it is by meguiar's called Back to Black. You just rub in on any vinyl, plastic, etc.. and it works really well to get rid of oxidation. Easy 2 minute fix at the end of a washdown.
