Hate to break if to you, but we're not driving BMW M3's which actually have very close to 50/50 weight distribution.

Here are weight distributions from very old Road & Track issues which tested the 1995 C36 and 1998 C43. (I just dug them up this past weekend)

C36: 54%/46% (front/rear)
C43: 57%/43% (front/rear)

I know they are not BMW M3's. But 55/45 is still really good. Just wanted to make sur they weren't nose heavy like 60' and 70's muscle cars.

C43AMG- What did C&D get for 0-60 on the C43? Thanks
PC Valkyrie- 0-60 for the C36 out of your mag? Thanks.

Unfortunatley the local dealer with the 97 C36 is being a real jerk off about his AMG. He wants $17k for it and wants to low ball me on my trade in. My mechanic/dealer says it is a $13k-$14k car and he can find one for that much. Looks like I will have to wait.

Thanks for all the great info. Now, If I can find a C36 or C43 where the dealer isn't a giant a-hole I will be good to go.

There are lots out. Problem being 1)I would need to trade my current car in 2) I am tired of going 600+ miles to get a car that I don't know what shape it is in and 3)I wont' buy a mercedes without my mechanic checking it out (the 85 Cosworth is already costing me more than planned) first. I live in CO and limited edition cars are very few and far between here.

Looks like the one on http://www.16valve.com Click on the next page link and you will see one with 17" rims and cleared euro front lights. Mine is a gray market 1985 cosworth. Mercedes did not make and import a US spec until 1986 and 1987
