Best Grill for C43

So for my first upgrade, I'm going to swap out the old grill for one of these (with a flat hood star as well) and thought I'd get your opinions...

ForMyMercedes:
Avantgarde Grill Insert
http://www.formymercedes.com/mb_resu...ategory=Grills

ForMyMercedes:
Elegance Grill Insert
http://www.formymercedes.com/mb_resu...ategory=Grills

Bekkers:
Avantgarde Grille (is this the same Schatz as the one at "ForMyMercedes")
http://www.bekkers.com/Merchant2/mer...illaccessories

I'm leaning toward the "Elegance Grill" from ForMyMercedes because I love the way the center large star looks in the grill on CLK's, SL's, etc. but if this part's quality isn't great, I'm afraid it will look very cheap.

It's really imppossible to judge the real quality of a piece like these online, so I'm especially interested in any feedback you all have from first hand encounters.

Thanks in advance....

I love the STAR on the hood, that is a Mercedes' signature, I can't stand the emblem at all. In my opinion, every car has an emblem, only MB has the STAR!

So I finnally went with the grill off of ebay from redcomet.

All in all, the quality was pretty good for the price. I had to remove a bit of plastic from where the 2 top inside clips fit to get it to work, though.

It had the upper left blocked out like the stock grill, but did not have a place to re-attach the removable factory piece that blocks out the upper right section. Do you guys typically just leave this area un-blocked?

Right behind there are the electrical connections for the fans, so I assume that part was meant to help keep water off of those...

Anyone had any problems as a result of this?

Any ideas guys, why MB covered the Right side of the grill,,

i think its good to open it, cause its directly front to the Right air inlet tube, isn’t.....??!!

Please for god's sake just don't get one with a star in the grille.... They do look good on SL, new C, CL etc... but they just do NOT work on the 202. They look so disproportionate with the rest of the car.

ZAYED,,
It's indeed to block water and large debris from the air inlet. c43 has two intake tubes, but every other model only has an intake on the left side (facing the grill) which is why there is only a flap on that side
