i went into the local euro parts place to get some fuel additives, and thought i'd get a wiper blade when i saw the pamphlet on the new bosch icon blade. the guy looked up a blade for my c43, and there wasn't a listing, so i asked him to just get me a regualr bosch micro edge excel, he went back and found a 24in blade that wasn't actually listed for a w202, so he showed it to me and i took it out the box and went for a test install. so it worked and it looks great, the bosch # ur gonna need is a 424A . so feel free to comment, i do like trying new things, and i like being different, thats why i sold the M3

WOW! that looks great and I need one. Couple of questions...

1) Where did you get this? I'm from Cali. I wonder where could I get this.

2) Is this the bosch # 424A?

Thanks!

Hello,

It looks like the "spoiler" on this windscreen wiper is facing the wrong direction? Perhaps you bought the right hand drive version?

I am looking to buy one of these but I need the right hand drive version, and this one looks like the right hand drive version as if it was the other way around the air would push the wiper onto the glass and use the spoiler correctly right?

Also if this is the case, there is a how to somewhere, maybe on club202.com that shows how to move the windscreen wiper position around (left hand, right hand, middle (dtm)) around if you wanted to go that way.

All you gotta know is to buy the 24" - all the Bosch and the new Rain-X versions work, the Rain-X is translucent.

I've found Rain-X to smear when the wipers are at a low speed or if you were to mist

Does it get the outer edges of the windshield too? I bought one a long time ago for my w124 (forgot the number but it was a 24" icon blade) and:

1) Somethings were hitting each other
2) It didn't quite reach the outer edges of the windscreen.

Gonna stop by Autozone to check it out.

Thanks,

Holson

These wipers are great! I have these on my Honda odyssey (Don't hate!) They're great! I like how the blade is curved for better wiping. There is no water or smear on the windows with these. They also wipe very clean. I will get this for my C280 when its time. These Bosch Icon are costly!

Nice. I've resigned to just getting mine from the dealer as I find they will fit perfectly. The 24" ones I bought from Autozone just seem to be too long.

I had these on my MX-5 before I bought my C43 and they were excellent...only reason I didn't buy them for the C43 is because I didn't see a listing for them. Guess who's taking a ride to Autozone later...

the pix do show the blade upside down, i have re-done it to be correct.

theres a trick in putting it on..... thats why the "book" doesn't show a 24in fitment for mercedes.

oh sweet, thought I'd never figure out the right wiper blade number, never saw it listed anywhere but now I know. These wipers are way better tan the regular cheap ones
