Donnie Drumond, C55K ??80mmTB???anyone??
Not to call anyone out or anything....benzmac(donnie drumond) I think.
After looking through old posts I saw that he used an 80mm TB from a CL600TT. I will be starting to take some of my motor apart within the next few months over winter and I really want to find out more info on the TB and how it works with the M113. I assume it's a bolt on or easily fitted.
I like the idea of using a stock 80mm TB rather than boring mine. I don't think my stock 74mm has the meat to go 80mm and the stock 80mm would most likely be of better quality compared to a hand bored C43TB or at least have thicker walls.
I haven't seen this guy post in a while so he may be out of the game. If anyone nows where to contact or about MB TBs please chime in. I will go to the dealer to print out part diagrams and get costs $$ this week. So real world experience would be cool though.

Thanks guys. I'm gonna go to the dealership to get a parts diagram and check out a CL they have nearby. Should be funny, I'll pop the hood, check out the TB...than say thanks.
