C36 Mods????
Does anyone know of any modifications, aside from a twin turbo kit, that can be put onto a C36? I already have my own cold air intake, reprogrammed ecm, and eisenmann race exhaust with a deleted resonator. I can't find anything. The only thing I can think of would be to put a rear end from a C43 in the *** of this thing. I know the C43 has a bit lower gear ratio than mine. It would be going from a 2.87:1 to a 3.06:1 if I'm not mistaken. This might get me places a bit faster, but I probably wouldn't hit 165 mph anymore. What does everyone think?

Mods for the c36 is hard to find. Because its a rare car. Mine is stock the way I like it-quiet,refined. My other ride is a 03 350z which is loud with boltons.

for those who don't know
I find it hard to believe that anybody who owns a c36 could possibly doubt the fact that this car will go 165. The speedometer in the car goes to 160, and I've had numerous stretches of road that have allowed me to pay close attention to the fact that, once you hit 160, and you have about two hundred rpm left before red-line, ur probably doing 165. Everyone needs to listen to EVLC36 and realize that the car is not limited.

I have several North American car magazines from 1995-97 with the various C36 articles in them. More than one states that Mercedes' own tests on the C36 back then have it capable of speeds in excess of 165mph when the limiter is removed. I'll be back home after the long weekend and can try to dig some of them up if anyone is interested in the references.
