I don't believe so. You can see some description of the BMS exhaust on this thread: http://www.club202.com/forums/showth...&threadid=1711.
At the end, someone was not too happy with it because it broke up. However, read the post by tump43. I think coolcarlskic43 just had a bad experience. Mine was very good other than what I have already said about it hanging low and burning up ceramic cats. The car is definitely slower without the system on and the sound is more muted. Like I said. If I was going to keep the car, I would have gone with 100 cell metal cats.

He can use that 2.5"to 3" y-pipe to a 3"reso, then run 3" pipe all the way back to that muffler you have. Those two reso's sandwiched together like that is not gonna fit properly under the car. Again I think you r selling that system for an excellent price, but I'd just redo it using the Y-pipe,Xpipe,2 high flow metal cats, the muffler you have there and some of the 3"piping. he'll see a definite increase in perfomance over the BMS setup.
Again if I were the poster,I would buy this from you.

If you look at the pictures, the thing that looks like and X is the x pipe. The The long tubular things after the x pipe are the resonators. The Y pipe is after the resonators. 55 is suggesting the you would go from the cats to the X pipe as in the picture but then instead of 2 resonators, you'd move the Y pipe to just after the X pipe then to a single 3" resonator.
I still think it hanging a little low isn't too bad but maybe this is a better idea. You'll still see a very good improvement in flow but it will cost you a little more in parts and labor. I'd estimate about $200 to $250 more to reconfigure it, $100-$150 in parts and another $100 in labor.
Saratoga is really close to San Jose or 50 minutes south of San Francisco. The place I would recommend getting it done is in Mountain View, about 10 miles from my house.

Personally I would use a resonator. You can delete it but I think you'll get some droning in the cabin. However, you could certainly try it without the resonator, setting up the system like 55 suggested with the x pipe to the y to a straight pipe to the muffler. Then if you didn't like the sound you could always just add a resonator later. You'd just need to tell the shop where you get the work done that you might want to add a resonator later so the exhaust and be made appropriately.

I'm confused.
Is this sold?
I don't usually wander over to this side of the board, but
I'm curious...and local. Wonder if I could use some parts on my C230, or
use this as a foundation for dual?
In any case, Steve, be interesting just to see your SLK32...
I've put a few bucks into my little ol' C as you can see from my sig.
Slips under the radar...but it's fun.
I'm in LG fairly frequently and known there, but over the hill these days.
Capitola art and wine this weekend....if anyone was looking for something to do. Always interesting scenery eh.

My SLK32 is in Phoenix getting some pretty extensive work done. Custom headers and exhaust, cooling system upgrade, and limited slip. I probably won't have it back for a month or 6 weeks. You are welcome to see it when it gets back. You can follow developments here: http://www.benzworld.org/forums/r170...nterested.html
If you are interested in upgrading, we might be selling the C43.

Still waiting for you on the exhaust. On the C43, not sure on price yet. Probably in the $16K to $17K range. Btw, I did have one more upgrade on the car besides springs, I did the brakes last year, drilled and slotted rotor with some low dust pads. The look great.

Good deal.
Now break it down and I'll tell you how to properly set it up because BMS did not know what they were doing when they made this thing. A pure waste of my hard earned $$.The muffler ,x-pipe are good prts to use though.
