Hi guys,
I am testing waters with this car. It is my dad's, but he has recently "given" it to me in exchange for my 4th year tuition. We were going to trade it in on my next car, but I will probably buy used so I am thinking of just selling it.

He bought is maybe 5 years ago, and it was his 3rd car. Driven maybe 6-7K per year, only on longer freeway trips. He was completely **** about this car. Mobil 1 every 4K (they say 5K), Sea-Foamed every 10K, etc.

Only problem we ever had was the MAF sensor, which was replaced maybe 2 years ago.

Clean title in hand.
77,xxx miles currently.
Jet black with two-tone Silver/Black leather.

Upgrades:
OEM Bosch "Euro" clear front signals
OEM S600 Grill
OEM "faux" CF trim
K&N Panel Filters
PIAA Super White Bulbs
35% Window Tint
AMG flat hood bezel
Extra OEM Floor Mats & All Seasons
3M Clear Bra

The car is in amazing condition. Washed/waxed regularly, always garaged, etc. Well taken care of mechanically as well. Still blows frigid AC.

2 blemishes:
Wheels have a few minor curb marks. I don't have pictures right now (don't even own a camera). Not big scratches, but they do have some small marks. The spare is actually in pretty good condition though.
The tint on the driver window has some small hairline scratches in it. I assume there was some dust/dirt on the seal and it scratched as it was lowered perhaps.

The wheels have Pirelli Pzero Nero MS tires, standard size (225/245) with a ton of tread left. Maybe 3K on the tires.

The car also has a crapload of spare oil/filters left. My dad stocked up and planned to keep this car forever. We also have the OEM lights/grill.

The seats/wheel are in great condition with minimal wear/dirt. However there is a white strip on the shift knob that is a little dirty. It can be cleaned I imagine, replaced, ignored, whatever. Hard to see anyway. Just being honest.

We knew what we wanted, and this car is super rare (1500 USA). We had it shipped from PA to WA without seeing it first.

On to the pictures:

The car is currently in Vancouver, BC but it is registered in WA and that's where it will be sold from.

As for price, I am not sure. There are some selling for low teens on eBay, but being so rare it's hard to get an accurate picture. IMO, those were in crappy condition.
I would like to see $17.5K for it.

I think it's the ultimate daily driver. Easy to drive, reliable, non-chalant, comfortable, unique, cheap, etc.
We get 30mpg on the highway and 22 in the city. I normally average 26. It's nice.

Email me at wyatthanson@gmail.com for more information.

Thanks for looking!

Nice C43. It is in excellent shape. If I were you I'd keep it and have a nice ride for many years to come.

If you don't mind I'd be interested to know what you did to average 26 mpg when the HWY MPG on these cars is about 23 and I see 16.5 around town. That would be excellent gas mileage and way more than I've ever heard of these cars getting.

Also, I bought my C43 for low teens and it is in near mint condition. The likelyhood of you getting 17.5K is pretty small. Good luck with the sale.

Good luck. Very nice car. The asking price is fair considering the pedigree of the car.

Darth, I get 27 mpg on the highway cruising at 75-80 mph. Usually around 19 mpg in the city.

The price is negotiable, I assume. Like I said, I am just testing the waters for my dad. He planned on keeping the car forever. My parents just retired and moved into our beach house. It's at the bottom of a cliff with a gated communal lot at the top. They don't feel comfortable leaving this car there when people can walk through the gate and do anything they'd like. We have some old cars he can put it in storage with, but he would feel best with an enthusiast actually using it.

But, I am open to offers.

As for mileage, I don't do anything. We wind it up every once in a while to "clear out the carbon" which is good for any sports car. But overall drive it pretty conservatively. Only thing that could matter would be the K&N filters.
Honestly, try Sea-Foaming the engine and throwing in some high-flow filters. Maybe that's all the difference?

I meant pictures showing the small wheel scratches. And I can't take any, because I have no camera at the moment (if someone really wants pictures, I can find a camera). But I had pictures of the car from recently, obviously. The wheels in the pictures above are actually the scuffed ones - but you can't tell because it's minor.

Can you provide some insight to this process and its results ?

Very nice example....I agree the price is fair. Good luck on the sale...if only there were room in my garage for one more. Your interior combo is pretty desireable as well....

you can add Seafoam to the gas tank (just like RedLine fuel cleaner) for cleaning your injectors, etc. or straight to crankcase, ideally before an oil change, drive about 100-200 miles with the seafoam on, then do that oil change.
it's a petroleum product btw (it has many many applications)
