Heya
Are you a trained mechanic at a dealership or what?

My car C43 amg
My fan blower for the ac inside the car is jerking me off,it makes a little noise when I use the midlevel blow, not the minimum or max only at mid level it makes funny noises this aint normal so I wonder do I have to replace the blower or can it be fixed? also if i buy new blower do i need to buy a blower regulator or can i use the old one to put it on the new blower?

Those blowers are made by BEHR they should be made of top quality parts, but I guess they are not!!

Another question when we buy parts should we all avoid VALEO parts or what? there seems to be a lot of problems with this brand?
The best quality parts are they made by Behr, Febi BIlstein,Lemförder, bosch?

If you have access to all the parts info I have always wondered about the AMG heads. I have been told different things so this is why I ask. Also, I've been told that the casting #s may be the same but the heads my differ from model to model. In this case M113 V8's.

So my car is the 4.3 AMG M113 variant and my heads are what came with it. I've been told that the 5.5 heads are different in some way. I'm curious about the E55K heads from the W211 as well. So to sum it up. If you could maybe find some info on the following heads it would be great.

Regular M113 V8's
C43 M113
E55 M113 W210 style
E55K M113 W211 style
CLK55 M113

Maybe the spring rates are different or something, I would think they would be for the E55K....I don't know. I've thought about a port and polish sometime in the future but I've been told from a pretty good source to find some E55 castings and work with them...

Maple Wood Wheel
I am currently waiting for my dealer's Service Manager to get back to me on the availability of an OEM wood and leather wheel for my 2006 ML 350. I have seen them on ebay and other sites as custom but don't beleive MB makes one. I know burl walnut is available but don't want to mix finishes. Maple is not available on the MB website or from the catalogue but the dealer said he would call "Corporate" to see what they say. It has been 5 weeks since I've heard from him and I'm beginning to get a bit pissed off. Left him a few messages and am beginning to think he's avoiding me. Have any of you guys heard of one being available? Thanks

Ok since you guys get bored I've got a couple of questions
I'm in the process of installing lowering springs on my c43
and seem to be getting mixed reviews I just removed h&r from the car and went back to the original springs I just want to lower the car about 1" and I saw a posting on the so called euro spring but the part #posted is a w210 part # I also looked for brabus and I don't like the way eibach & h&r handles they are made for w202 not c43 I've already tried it .Any ideas?Second question in I'm going to install a supercharger but need to upgrade my brakes to compensate for the extra horses.which in the best upgrade kit.I've got 911 big reds but no adaptors.will this work?

You do realize that the C43 has some of the best brakes in the business. 13.2" rotors and it had stopping distances that were on par with the Ferrari F355 and Porsche 911TT, both the standards of braking at the time the C43 came out.

If you want a bolt on upgrade, Brembo and Stoptech both offer brake upgrade packages.

430, 43 and 500 heads are pretty much the same (minor valve size and spring tension changes, different cams though. The N/A 55 heads are different and valid only for that engine so they are quite different in some way. I'd presume a minor combustion camber design change and a port change.
