Transmission oil for 95 C36
I've searched but no luck...any references would be great!
Planning on having the local shop do do the transmission oil change very soon...the shop says the non-synthetic oil is good enough, but I could also use the Mercedes synthetic transmission oil.
As far as the transmission oil for the 4-speed C36...what do you guys recommend (brand and specific grade/weight) and what's your experience with it? I'm leaning towards the MB synthetic oil, but are there more than one grade? Thanks

The transmission oil from Autohauz is item #: 001989210310

"Lifetime Synthetic Transmission Fluid; For Mercedes models with 722.6XX electronic 5-speed automatic transmissions, NOT for latest model 7-speed 722.9xx automatic, please verify type of transmission"
Those don't appear to be the ones for the C36...

Thanks again for any and all inputs

I'll look into some of those dexron 3 stuff

Is draining the converter gonna require more time than 'the usual' transmission oil change? Does draining the converter = transmission flush?confused:
: My mechanic friend says he can do the transmission oil change, but probably not the flush.
