silence's widebody teaser thread: metalwork!

alright, now that your in here... this is my friend's highly modded A4 which I recently completely shaved and am in the process of widebodying- SO breathe a huge sigh of relief or, for some, disappointment that i didn't hack up my C43... (JUST YET)

Some pictures-

that's me!

we are actually much further along on it than those pictures show- i'm just too lazy to take pictures so i'm waiting for him to snap some. At this point we're at the body filler stage front and rear and have his bumpers shimmed to fit correctly front and rear.

it will be running 25mm spacers with those carlsson's and 225s stretched all around

sorry for the ot post, but i wanted to show ya'll why my supercharger project hasn't progressed too much the last few weeks.

Nice work man, kinda like artwork I guess. Nice to see they are actually metal.

Check out club202.com, there is a wide body C36 in the picture section that is just stunning. Top notch work too. I think the C36 has 11in rears or something.

As far as the C43 goes, our cars are beyond the original collection state so I say if the work is of MB quality go for it. The W202 looks badass with wide fenders and huge wheels...and to be honest we could use 315-325 rubber out back

Good work on the front....I'd love to see more pics of the rear, as thats where most people either get things right or really botch an otherwise spotless conversion

honestly, i don't like the fronts nearly as much as i do the rears. more pics should be real soon.

so far as my C43 goes- it won't go under the knife like this until i either sell or completely finish my explorer (might not be that long, but might never happen).

some more- pics very soon with the stretched tires on the carlsson wheels that i sold him. obviously lots more detail work to finsh as well.

if you pay attention and know your B5 bodywork you'll also notice a ton of other little tings done.
