C43 is perfect, just want a pulley set and maybe a chip.

i hear really good things about the evosport low-drag pulleys. they claim you can free up to an additional 12 hp to the crank by reducing the pulley drag on the motor... the chip is good too, i would go with an intake, at least a k&n filter to keep it breathing good. im pretty sure you can get another 15hp on this motor with a chip...

i got my last c280's chipped by upsolute and they did a really good job... got 19hp gain on my m104 motor. (24 valve straight 6 dohc)... the really amazing part was that (even with my 225/17 front and 245/17 rear 06 c230 sport wheels dragging the car) i clocked 31.06 mpg on a trip from atlanta, ga to savannah, ga. all highway miles from gas station to gas station it was crazy i never knew a 200+hp car could acheive such gas mileage at an average speed of 75.... i reattempted the trial over and over again acheiving in the range of 30mpg consistently on the same 267 mile trip at an average of 75 mph. this new v8 is killin me, im at the gas station three times a week filling up.... im really hoping getting a chip is gonna help with my mileage, but the claims on the upsolute site dont seem to be giving me a positive outlook....

I read that with a pulley kit you also need to chip it to make real use of the pulley set? It does not make sense to me but I dont know.... Years ago I installed some rolling rocker arms on my 70 cutlass with a chevy 350 engine and the motor ran real smooth. You would think this would be the same with the pulley kits.

I went to the link you provided, whats the difference between the 3 prices they have for the c43? Btw, I do have green filters and I took apart the front plastic air ducs amg put in there. After I removed them I than ran some tubing all the way to the front grille. What this did is awsome, I get a real nice ram air affect. AND, when I hit the pedal kinda hard you could hear the air sucking in fron the front grille. Reall cool sound and good power from it. I did not get this kind of power with the amg setup. The only worries I had was when it would rain I thought it might suck up rain in. But as long as dont floor it all is good. Real nice mod!

nice, but make sure theres some kind of guard against water (in the case of severe rain) from getting sucked directly into the intake.

im not quite sure what you mean about prices. the link i provided only shows the before and after chip hp and fuel economy. i paid 400 to have the chip done on my c280's. im pretty sure its the same cost to chip the 43

When I go to PRICING it says this:

Tuningchip Standard 350,-
Tuningchip Gold Class 499,-
Tuningchip Platinum Class 699,-

I emailed them to ask whats the differences but no response yet.
