sounds like airplane
cool- never seen that one in person/knew it was around.
price is commensurate with what i'd be asking for my car were it stock.
mine is posted in my work classifieds and a few other places for over 20k (not expecting to sell at all).
if you're interested i could take a look/drive it to give someone peace of mind before purchasing.

agreed
however, asking and offering are different
additionally, it's worth an extra 500-1000 due to the location. For someone in the upper midwest these cars aren't nearly as easy to find local as they are on the coasts etc.
I'd gladly pay an extra 1500 (and did) to be able to inspect the car myself, test drive etc. and not have to fly anywhere.

I don't suspect the price will be reduced all that much apon sale. This is not a WRX or Evo. This is a C43, its a legend in its own right. C43 buyers for the most part, are not looking for a fast car or a benz per say or even a sport luxuary car they are looking for a C43. A little extra money is well worth (Well) the piece of mind to know that this "is the clean car I hoped it would be". MB are expensive to fix, couple that with the overwhelming rarity of the parts on these cars(C43,C36) $1000-$1500 is a small price to pay to make sure this car has a long life. Good Luck ....... always remember ...."stay on the gas"

'98 C43 AMG. Obsidian Blk w/2 tone slvr/blk interior
all im saying is that if i paid 12.5k for my 98 c43 with 77k miles i would definitely reconsider spending an extra 1400 bucks for a car with 20k more miles, regardless of location. Condition goes without mention. i would expect to buy a car that operates regardless and free from major defects. so thats a negative on the extra 1500 for a car that "works"

I clicked on the listing and its not there anymore, I'm just curious cause I just purchased a 1999 C43 from MN Craigslist about a month ago, I live in Edina, MN. The car was silver with over 90K miles, he was originally asking something around 14,000 but I got him down to 11,000. I'm just curious if this was the listing.
Thanks,

As an aside,I got an email from a friend thats a wholesaler , he mostly buys MB and BMW's from dealers that can't sell a trade-in as a CPO car because of space restriction or just too many miles...but still uber-clean 1 owners that he ships to Russia ,Eastern Europe, etc,, where they go for a premium.
Anyways, he mentioned he's getting an 99 E55 w/ 89K on the clock,black/blk for about 10K that was or is going to be traded in.
Wow ! He said if I wanted it he would sell it to me for 11-11,500.
Tempting,but I think I'll hold out for the 211 E55 or C32....or C55.
How many here would choose a e55 over a c43 ? just curious, and why. Thanks in advance.
