Interest in Aftermarket parts?
Piggy back setups seem to be more and more popular simply b/c tunings options for older MBs isnt' much. SpeedTuning and InMotion are the only two that I know of that even tune our cars unless some of you guys know others. speedtuningusa is very affordable at $250-350 and gives slightly less gains than piggyback but its alot less hassle as far as install is concerned so its a tradeoff. I would say just get a really good basic ECU tune and that is more than enough. Remember these MB ECUs have a very high ability to adapt, moreso than bmws so a basic ECU tune will basically give you all the tuning you need for most basic bolt on moded setups.

Alot of cars use the same Bosch injectors. Just so happens that BMW ,FORD ,and MB use some of the same exact model and CC injectors for some of their cars. I'm sure you knew that I would assume. Oh and Japanese cars as well.
When I had my M3 with the Schrick cams and TMS SW I did put in the 26lb blue top bosch injectors that were also a FORDMO sport part.
Worked like a charm not having to chg my injectors when the 4.3L motor was swapped out and the 5.4L motor was swapped in.
Theres no point in killing your MPG for very little gain. I'd rather have more MPGs and get the power another way (chip and other means).
