i wish i could go... my bro lives in the bay area, hes overseeing the construction of the new bay bridge (suspension side). although he makes enough to drive a c63 he chooses to drive a 4runner so he can go skiing on the weekends during wintertime.... so sad

i'll come. then you can see what you missed. i've decided to keep my car. just couldn't part with it for $7000.
it could have been yours bagel if you'd jumped on it when i first offered it to you. after taking a trip to vegas for a poker tournament i decided to keep the beast.
rolling at 120 with the cruise control on listening to "radar love", burnin' a fat one convinced me. great roadtrip. oh yeah, won $1500 as a bonus.

I just bought a 1997 C36 in Fremont that I'll be picking up Sunday. I'll be in San Jose until Friday at an IBM conference. After which I'll be driving it back to Omaha, NE. I want to get the fluids (oil, trans and such) changed before the drive back.
I was just going to take it to the San Jose Mercedes dealership to have this done. Do any of you have any experience there or is there another shop I should use?
Any of you want to meet up any evening and show me the finer points of my new car?

i vote september 14th. hopefully i have a c36 by then.
Also if everyone pitches in 2-3bucks (depends on how many people) i really will bring an ice cream cake. lol
