i checked it all out including the engine manifold and all that good stuff.
it needs new tires.

What type of tires should i get to go with this?

Will those fit? IM guessing so
Also, the reviews seem to state that they are fine for usuing in Bay Area Style Winters (Cold rainy. no snow, no ice, no hail)

for the guy that was wondering about tire profiles and aspect ratios, you want to keep your rolling diameters the same front to back and close to oem tire height. If you don't your abs, cruise control, esp will all be screwy

to say nothing about how far your speedometer will be off.

i ended up buy Michelin Ps2's
280each!!
but they are rated for 6 years no matter what warrenty and all this other good stuff. soo if i burnout alot and use them before six years is up, they will give me a new set for free. =]
besides there is no question about grip.
They put them on Mclaren F1's =]
why do you think i put toyo proxes on my car after burning through sets of pzeros.. because it really doesnt matter what you use, youre going to get good traction regardless. you might as well try to get a few extra miles between new sets and maybe not spend so much each time
costco isnt stupid. u probably misread. 6 yrs at standard yearly mileage of 12k per yr is 72k miles.... i dont think so. they did not predict that those tires would wear in 6 yrs, youre out of your mind!

60 months. thats 5 yrs, and its road hazard. it states in there that if the tire is worn down past a certain point, it is a worn tire... which means you buy a new tire.
this forum exists for a reason - for us to share our experiences. unless your parents are nice enough to buy you a new set of PS2's every year, you should have listened to people's advice and gone with a more economical choice. just because the michelin ps2 is the highest rated tire grip-wise doesnt mean that youre going to be able to tell a noticeable diff between those and a set of toyos, which would have cost you less than 700 for the set mounted, balanced, and aligned.
less the exclusions, and they are no fools when looking at an AMG with tires smoked to half depth in 6 months they know for certain you violated one of these exclusions
2. A tire that is damaged / failed due to an accident.
3. A tire that is damaged / failed due to commercial use.
4. A tire that is damaged / failed due to racing.
5. A tire that is damaged / failed due to Off-Road use.
6. A tire that is damaged / failed due to snow chains or studs.
7. A tire that is damaged / failed due to rapid or irregular wear.

Great tires ,but in recent tests the proxie4 and the higher rated toyo from les schwab rated equal or better and the new schwab stores have the latest hunter align machine, will install spring kits for a drop and install camber kits and links to get it into spec.
either way you go the biggest increase in tire life is a proper alignment.
and not toasting them every stop light
and yeah i know that the forum is for adice.
NEXT TIMEEE
and no my parents dont my them for me
i spent MY $ on them
No way I could of run a 8.5, unless I went with a much smaller tires stretched onto the rim, which is something that should NOT be done.
Stick with the proven size, 18x8 and 18x9 with the 31mm offset (AMG monoblocks)
