These cars would sell between 8-9K all day long. And if you know where to look you can find a lot of them.

I'm a big fan of w202 AMG's C43s and C36s... but at that pricepoint it's quite near w210 E55 AMG category with equivalent miles in good shape. My brother in northern Cali is searching for a nice C43 but that's 4K too much.
look at their rarity and you'll know that one day they will be worth much more so w\e you pay now is not to much imo
you have to accept the fact that these cars are pretty damn rare, only a true car lover will see these cars for what they are, most of you guys here sound like you just need something to beat on and have fun in

These cars are rare in that they did not build many, but how many people do you think are out looking for these low production cars? Not very many. Not enough to drive up prices. I have been watching Ebay the past couple of months and I actively buy and sell cars so I am doing my homework.
Lastly, no one is going to ignore the economy right now. Why would anyone pay even fair market for one when sellers are lucky to get offers at all?
Bottom line is that if you want top dollar, stick it back in your garage until next year. If you have to sell it, this is a bad time to do it and price it accordingly.
The cars themselves are great, and the OP looks to have one of the better examples.

I'm a true lover of w202 AMG's... I wish he could get as much as possible for his real fine C43, but most members here are enthusiasts and knowledgeable on spending ceiling & current marjet value for a clean C43 after all. Just being honest...
Use my AMG as an example vis-à-vis: a 2001 E55 (653 units made) that has 64K miles, documented since new, easy near-mint car in & out, rarer than a 1998 C43 (788 units made), AND purchased this year for $800 more than the C43's asking price.
Don't need to be a rocketscientist to figure this one out... If someone offers $12+K plus for that nice C43, then I'd say go for it... the buyer & seller will likely be happy. But if it was priced at $10K-11K then it's likely to sell alot sooner. Nevertheless, WyattH seems to have a VERY CLEAN C43.

My 2 pennies...

And I'm very happy at the end of the day - and that's what counts for each one of us. At least we're in the same lineage... the E55's M113 powerhouse was derived straight from the C43's M113 monster!
