I own a euro '98 C43 AMG Designo, here is the option list and some pics.

how come you have a non-amg steering wheel?

This steering wheel is part of the designo pack wood an leather, like the shift knob.
The Amg stering wheel (same than sport pack i think) wasn't avaible with wood/leather.

lucky *******, apparently the euro edition had the rear sunshade. i havent seen any w202 with factory rear sunshade

i wouldn't trade 100 sunshades for having that steering wheel rather than the amg one

yes I think that this designo steering wheel is nicer than stock one...
I have the sunshade, electricaly folding mirror, courtesy lamp, rain sensor...

I haven't seen yet another C43, with all those stuff.
I had a lot of chance to find this c43...

And i really like the black and blue designo...

No, 280 Km/h.
I think that only the C55 had a 300 km/h speedometer.

yes that is a lovely car. my c43 actually does have wood with the amg designo wheel. you have 4 other options my car doesn't have; park assist, rear shade, folding mirrors, and high jack. it does have self adjusting bi xenon, built in telephone, 6disc in the trunk, designo interior, etc etc.

Are the sunshades just shades that mount in the rear window and pull up then clip to block the sun? Same for the rear door windows? I have sunshades for the rear window and the two rear door windows (the shades roll down with the window). Wondering if these are the same shades we are talking about in this thread? They all have Mercedes part numbers. Thanks!

we're talking about an electronic curtain in the rear window of a c43. similar to the c32 i own

Ahh thats what I thought, I know this is a very rare option on some W124's (mostly euro). Anyone have close up photos of this?
