yeah - I'm addicted to boost....

and the whine of the turbos as they spool up and do their thing.

I have to warn first time passengers about the boost when I give it the beans otherwise they land up looking at the head liner.

(My preference is for turbo charging over supercharging.)

So yes I agree - don't ever go forced injection, it'll drain your wallet and take over your life :-)

My we are off topic here !

honestly, can't see myself ever not wanting to go FI with any vehicle i purchase "for fun" well, ever. Of course it's fun to have a huge torquey big block in an american car, but they are even more fun with FI.

I never said FI sucks, theres just alot more headaches with it and alot more can go wrong. Its a personal preference I guess and depends on ones tolerance to relability (or lack there of).

Although I must say, got a ride in my buddies Ruf Porsche Turbo... HOLY CRAP . 550+ HP of FI fury definitely has its benefits haha.

anyways this thread is obviously done lol, im sure we will all reunite in another thread , back to work

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
I did not say it was a power glide

in the 70 Z28 and 360 hp was GM underrating just as the 427/435 h.p. vette motors a few years earlier were way over 435h.p. the automatics handled the 360 h.p. if you want to rate it the old school way and they did it at 6000 rpm and it was a production car,so the blanket statement about automatics and high revving engines is just not religion. That's all.

Back to the op get a C55 and go to Skip Barber

True dat....

Look at me, a sixty year old member of "FIA" ( forced induction anonymous )

I keep on falling off the wagon and can't get past the first of twelve steps...

Boost is addictive
