2001 W202 C36 AMG?! :s

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the last of the C36's came out in 1997 or something, and the C43 replaced it up until 2000?
What's more, the last of the W202's came in 2000 (I'm pretty certain this is the case, as I own a W202 C240), and this auction is claiming the car is a 2001 W202 C36 AMG.
Something else that's weird is that this car is in Japan, but it's a left-hand drive car? Drivers are on the right side in Japan, like here in New Zealand, but I do see the odd Mustang here with the driver on the left, so it's not too much of an oddity as compared to the year of the car, or the fact it's a "2001 C36 AMG".
Does anyone else find this extremely fishy? :|
