u have open the lower panel and take the clips out from the back out Cluster , u have to put your hand from lower panel to the back of Cluster and lose the clips, once the clips are lose u can pull out the cluster Easy

Cluster Removal
Cluster removal is simple and easy - with the right tools. There is no need to remove panels, etc and there are no clips to remove.
I had a light issue last year and paid the Mercedes dealership $50.00 to change the bulbs. I watched the mechanic remove the cluster in less than a minute with a Mercedes cluster removal tool - which I purchased myself shortly thereafter. The part number140 589 02 33 00. They do not like to sell them, but if you have a good relationship witht the parts staff, there should be no issue.
I hope this helps!
