I want your old motor mounts
As the title says, I'm looking for a set of motormounts to mess around with(not like that
) but work them over into a more robust form. Being that it is R&D based they need not be new.
Lastly, anyone know the models we share mounts with? I know of a certain year W210E55, and would think maybe the W208?

I've got one (passengers side) from my 2001 E430. I don't know if it is the same part# as your C43. If it is I'm willing to donate it to the cause.

I quickly glanced at autohausaz's website and then are showing different replacement part #'s for our cars so they are probably different.

there is a guy over there 23k called paul,
he has the highly modded turbo c230k, and he has done alot of work with engine mounts, i beleive he pulled down his standard ones and got them re poured with harded rubber, but then the vibration thru the car was to much, and he has settled onto the v8 mounts.
dont quote me exactly but i think that is how it went.
is your engine moving around to much>? have you thought about one of those engine shock absorbers, or even a strap put over the standard mounts(only needs to be on one side)

slightly used mounts originated from one CL55 '02 m.y. exact fit not the same part# . Maybe they are a bit stiffer ? Anyway it drives smoth as silk. Roger
