Greetings and salutations...
I've been around the forum for a while now but just recently became a sponsor. This discussion was started in another thread, and I said I would be willing to assist in making this part happen. So, if there are 5 individuals that would like to start on this endeavor we can start the process.
The initial buy-in will be $35.00. This will be used to purchase a set of factory manifolds and begin working with the machinist. From there, I can give a more accurate amount of what it will take to complete. If we decide to move forward, that money will be credited to the overall purchase and if we don't, the funds will be returned.

What benefit is it to anyone to "buy in" if you haven't a clue on what your finished product will cost ?
If you can't afford to procure any required parts to template, then how will you be capable to fund your prototypes which will be quite expensive ???
I'd be wary as a consumer for anyone asking to finance their research and development..

Its not actually my research and development, I'm only trying to fill a request made by a fellow member, and doing it the most economical way possible for all the members. The more the intial cost is spread out, the better pricing is for all those involved. By doing things this way it will actually cut the cost in half as opposed to doing just one. These items will be a limited run for a very specific audience. This equals a high cost for anything made. If there hasn't been anything made for this car by now, then it will either need to be a one-off custom or something like we are doing here. Oh, its also not about having or not having the funds to purchase the parts, its more about whether or not people will want the final product.
Pricing will be somewhere between $700 and $800 depending on the materials used. If you check the items that I actually have 'for sale' you will see a actual defined price.
As for the camber arms, I offered to help the W211 E55 guys, just like I'm doing here.
Hope this helps.

Curious as to why you're asking for "buy ins" on your headers and camber kit ?

king, this is what I said.
That's why I was reluctant to give pricing, but I tell you what, for you and Paul I will do it for $750 + shipping regardless of what the actual cost is.
Deal?
Deal?

Are these going to be log style headers or some other design?
The price is good I and another guy I know will be interested depending on the design. What size primaries are you going to use?

They won't be log style because of how they are designed from the factory, I'm hoping for a 3 into 1 design, and I won't know what measurements we are going to use until I get the factory set I ordered to examine.

Met with the machinist today, he will be making the flanges and then it will be off to the fabricator to make the final product. I will post up some pictures of the flanges once they're done.

Will this be a limited production run? I will be interested in something like this if you can prove (dyno) performance gains down the road, however, I'm still searching for a C36. Either way I'm looking forward to some pictures!
