i will post progress once i figure out this forum stuff haha. i can fix a mercedes but will need some help with this posting stuff. if anyone else out there has recently done the c55 engine swap what is the going rate on a 5.5 (5.4liter amg n/a) i am seeing prices from around $3500 and i doubt i will be able to sell my 4.3 engine. i will also try to catalouge the trans rebuild i am doing this week using the guts out of S65 trans, it is rated to handle 600 ft/lbs, the valve body will be my only worry since my control unit likes a 140 270 0606 the best.

i just call it the c55 swap because thats the end poduct, any 113 amg n/a engine will work, the s55 and cl55 engines actually make the most torque but that was mostly factory programing, i am trying to buy either the 210 or 220 motor right now, both those engines with ecu flash should make around 400hp

here is the web link for there site, you can remove the ecu and send it to them or go to a facility with the computer were they flash it on the spot through the obd2 connector. just do a search for an authorized facility in your area, our shop is getting the computer and software next month

my plan is to flash my ecu as though it is an e55, once that motor is installed thus getting the gains an e55 would obtain

the amazing thing is our engine has the same intake manifold, and throttle actuator as an e55 113 engine
