C43 Shift Knob?
Hello folks..sorry for my bad english I'm french but I'll try 
Was always wondering how come my C43 shift knob says '' sport ''
and not C43 like in the '' C36 '' or the '' C32 '' amg ?
Did it came stock like this, or previous owner changed it !
small details makes the car perfect !

85 280GE; 2001 E55; 2003 CLK
thats the way it came stock. mine also has the mercedes star and sport underneath. back then they had a few different version c-classes. Classic, Elegance, Esprit & Sport. the C43 was the sport version. the C43 should also have "sport" decals and the sides of the front fenders. you should be able to get them from your dealer if you dont

mmm not sure but..here it was more..
classic, sport or elegance for every model
and C43 AMG was not a '' sport '' model..
i guess they just took shift knob from the sport one cause they didn't have any

Hey are you even sure the C32 says C32 on the shifter?? I thought it was only the C36 that got its name on it...

Shift knob c43 at the dealer
I asked the dealer about my 1998 c43...it costs me $300 plus tax.
After spending $280 for an extra key, i'll probably just go to ebay to get a replacement shift knob.

LOL yeah... ITS A SHIFT KNOB. "SPORT" with the MB star is good enough for me. I will say this, my c43 didn't come with the "sport" decal on the side either. It could of been removed by the previous owner but I don't even see ANY evidence that it was ever there.
