hello everybody i have my c-class w202 1996 with 18 inch wheel and front tire is 225/40/r18 rear 235/40/r18 and i want to lower it i bought AMG springs but does it rub ??? plz help me !!!

2000 C43 Wagon
C43 AMGs have 17 inch wheels 7.5J and 8J (rear) with 225/45/17 tyres on the front and 245/40/17 on the rear and the clearance between wheel and body on european spec cars isn't much. I'd be tempted to go for lower profile tyres. Anyone else know better?

1999 C43 AMG
there are 2 kinds of amg springs.... euro and u.s. spec. the euro springs are lower than the "standard" us spec springs. i have a euro spec spring which gives me 2 finger gap at the front and one at the rear. i wanted it lower that's why i bought the h&r's.

C43 may have come with AMG's own springs like they used to do but the 36 did not, just plain ol C280 Springs.
