'98 AMG C43 / '70 Cougar
C43 Headlight lense replacement (Xenon)
Anyone know where I can purchase a headlight lense that's for Xenon headlight unit? My passenger side got hit by a rock and its badly crack. I did my research and all replacement lenses are non-xenon. My other option is to buy the whole assembly but the price for one unit is about $800.

The part # of my headlight is MB# 202 820 38 61 or Bosch 0302 475 272

I saw a pair of a c36 on craigslist in your area. Not sure they are xenon but they are very cheap

they are not the same for c43!
c36 never had any zenons if I'm rajt?

I was quoted about C$220 from my local dealer, couldn't find it anywhere else.

kewl better than $800....Im assuming this is the whole assembly not just a lense replacement, right? I'll be calling my local MB for the recent price.

Nah mate, sorry it was just for the lens. But if only the lens is bad, then it's like a 5 minute job to replace it, and no need to replace the entire assembly.

vicious-where are you from norcal? we need to do a mini-meet for 202 amg's

back to topic... headlight lens can be replaced if there's nothing wrong with the xenons. just buy the lens from autohausaz

How much was it a autohausz?? Using their website search all I found for a 99 C43 were non-xenon lens...

Actually the lens that I bought on ebay or Autohausaz are both non-xenon, the xenon bulb was not damage at all, the non-xenon lens works perfectly.

The non-xenon lens has a totally different cut-off than the xenon. Using non-xenon lens on a xenon headlamp is a mistake; will blind other drivers, etc.

I was not aware of that...if this is the case then its on there temporarily the old lens was badly crack and I needed a replacement asap. If you see me at night then all I can say is sowry if I bllinded you
