Jasssc, The c36 had a mosselman turbo kit on it which they don't make anymore, and the car made 340 wrhp. it also had custom headers, ecu, intake with ram pipe, no cats brabus exhaust... I sold the car back 2000 and bought the C43 that I have now.

Not to sound like a jerk but I like the car but I’m tired of it. I guess that happens with any car though.
Did you notice good gains with the Kleemann headers and cams?

I'm sure he did as he is supercharged, you would probably see more of a gain with forced induction vs. N/A

HPS gen 1 kit here as well. Loud, reliable, gives you power when you want it and decent MPG when you just want to cruise... light into it enough, she'll suck you dry pretty quick though. I have a higher mileage C43 as well and no problems.

You put the gen 1 on the dyno? What other mods did you have to add to make it work properly?

Haven't put it on the dyno yet. I actually bought it with the kit installed already. Seems that it was professional done, although I don't have any records to know for sure, nor to be able to tell how long it's actually been installed on the car. (Definitely doesn't look brand spanking new, but not really old either.) I did notice that it has the vortec fuel pressure regulator so that kind of leads me to believe they went with the full package and got the ECU done as well as the fuel system upgrades or whatever they offer on their "stg 2" kit. -this is all still realitively new to me so I don't know a whole lot of info about it...still learning.

Yea, pretty high for having FI..was weary about it when I bought it but the engine pulls real strong and tranny seems alright as well. I'm going to have the tranny serviced soon though since I'm not sure when/if it was done by the PO.

I've definitely seen Merc motors in the high 300's before, just a matter of how well the owner maintains it to keep it going strong for that long. I don't beat on mine too much, just a comfy DD and has power when I want/need it.

Every benz Ive ever owned, I change the tranny fluid ever 30k miles. I know, I know, its a little much but I have yet to have one fail out of me. Knock on wood. I know this C43 likes to drop out around 120-150 miles but shes not going to do that to me... We had a talk! Just make SURE and use the spec oil, NO RP crap or anything like that and get the filter set from autohausaz.com great prices! Ez job for sure!

Ps- Cant wait to see pix of this beast?! If you don't mind me asking, around what price did you get her for?

Thanks for the info, I'll check them out for the kit. It's definitely something I'll be doing soon, as well as the res delete from the exhaust. (Already got the y-pipe)

I got it for $9k...little high, but with the interior being almost perfect, the HPS kit and the new wheels, tires, brakes, etc.. I couldn't complain much.

Pics are from my cell phone so they aren't so great.. I haven't really done anything to it yet other than converting the fogs to HID so they match the stockers.
