I'm just going to name my car macgyver benz after all the crap i've came up with. So, I wanted a rear sun shade for a while but after looking and not being able to find out i kinda gave up. I saw these manual sun shades on ebay and decided to buy one. I got the 100cm one but it was too long to fit where I wanted it too. It's not really 100cm more like 107cm.
What I did,
Disassembled the sun shade.
cut the center section to 98"
Cut the rod down to size.
Cut the fabric 1.25 in on each side
Reglued the fabric back on the rod
I used velcro on the speaker grilles and hooked it on the top to keep it in place. I did not want to drill anything onto the car or make holes.
And got this for about $49.99

you can order an eletric at the stealership, but it will be a biage to install it!
you need a new hatrack, wire loom, centre console cover and all trim getting removed.
I think I might do this mod if I can't get a manual shade!

I can only assume that it is going to be an ARM AND A LEG from the stealership for all those parts but if thats my only option then that's what I will have to do. I will have to put this one at the bottom of the list as I don't need it I just want it.

Cool MOD and I am glad it worked out so cheap but I NEED the stock sunshade. I want to be able to put it up and down when ever I want without having to physically remove/replace it. Anyone know where I can get one???
They do sell an electric version of mine but you'll need to drill some holes on the package tray. I guess it's not that bad.
I bought it from this guy.

Good luck installing it and finding all the parts you'll need. Have you priced out how much it cost? I couldn't find one and the manual ones where wayyyy to expensive there.

electric one looks nice but I don't like the stands /legs) on that shade!
seller claims it's 100 cm you say it was 107cm?
is the 100cm correct fitment?
otherwise it will be an easy instal according to instructions

From end to end it's longer than 100cm. I guess the shade itself is 100cm? I would just ask the seller if he could take one out of the box and measure the base in inches.

Here Yugo Mr
.
A202 810 00 20
This part will be an cool item on your car.
Then you will need a new centre console cover, not like mine but similar to yours with an extra cutout for that blind

i've been searching mbclub.co.uk and it seems like part number B66691196 is also for the w202 as well and it's only $300. apparently it comes with a remote control as well.

poor lady is dead.
she commited suicide not long ago.
she had a difficult childhood and she was depressed.
that's why she was working in the adult film industry.
I once saw a documentary about her on teveee, and she revealed all this info about her.
It's sad for her family.
