I would quote stock M3 brake as not that great too. Absolutly when compare to Pcar 6pots/4Pots and racing Pagid pads. But look at yourself and your car. Are you qualified to say M3 brake bad? I guess not cause your system might be worse.
If he add more mod and beat Gallardo, he could say Lambo is so & so. But PLEASE you do not repeat after him. It make you a FOOL, you and your .....box are not qualified.
I was never at mymbonline. So no idea what you talked about.
Also again do not bring GTR and P car war here. Both are good cars but way off topics.

I do not think so. From his posts in 6speed, he is pretty knowledge. He understands function, physic of car, HP/weight and such. He is not the one who close all ears, eyes and brain to all the fact. He will not act so childish like ........

BTW: Stop mention a guy here. Members here do not know or care much.
He was nice to not kill you instantly and let you have joy for few seconds. Do not let it hellucinate you your car is super capable. Keep mention how good you did with your nobody big brother does not help you a bit when you do not listen to others.
I am here for two reasons.
1. I'm looking to buy fast 4doors. MB is awesome.
2.This thread kicked my eyes. Cause I knew 335i was pretty good. Now I am arguing with ..... Luckily your car was not Saturn, might make me laugh at Joke of the year.

Why is it hard to believe the C63 can be beaten lol. Maybe the 335i wasn't stock, or that he had the jump, too many variables to consider. Fact is, I got beat.

C55 AMG, 135i, 911 GT3, GLE43 AMG
What a thread. Before it gets closed, here's what I think, and this is directed at PJmak.

1) There is very little lag in the twin turbo 3.0L inline 6 of the 135i/335i. Once above 2000rpm, the torque curve is fairly flat until close to redline. There are no sudden surges of torque/power above a certain rpm that one typically sees with older single turbo units. I have a 135i, and it pulls with a similar feeling as my C55......nice and smooth (with no sudden jumps in power) with an abundance of low end torque. Sure, if you're below 1500rpm, then there is not as much power, but that's the case with any engine, turbo or not. And just to be clear, the 2007-2010 135i/335i came with a 3.0L inline 6 with a TWIN TURBO setup (2 small turbos). Starting in 2011, the 135i/335i comes with a newer 3.0L in-line 6 engine wich has a SINGLE TWIN SCROLL turbo unit (one turbo).

2) At the crank, the 135i/335i has similar HP and torque numbers as the C43 AMG according to manufacturer specifications. However, all straightline acceleration numbers and trapspeeds suggest that the 135i/335i likely makes more power than advertised, and this has been confirmed by a lot of independent dyno tests. That's why the 135i/335i posts acceleration numbers which are faster than what one would expect given its power rating and weight. Bottom line: the 135i/335i probably make more power than the C43, which is why most people would agree that it is highly unlikely a stock C43 can out accelerate a 135i/335i from a dig or from a roll. Here is another perspective: a stock 135i/335i can probably keep up (or just lag slightly behind) a stock W203 C55 until higher speeds where the C55 starts pulling away as the twin turbo I6 runs out of steam up top. If a C43 can "beat" a 335i, then you're saying a stock C43 is similar (if not faster) than a W203 C55. If you truly believe that, then so be it.

The 2 instances you quote about C43's beating a 335i on a roll could have happened.....all it takes is inferior driver skill (especially with manual transmission) on the part of the 335i driver, and/or excess weight in the 335i (like passengers or trunk contents), and maybe the C43's not being completely stock.

3) With each newer generation of C-AMG cars, the newer ones almost always perform better (faster acceleration, and better handling). As mentioned earlier, each newer generation of C-class has more structural rigidity (and weight). The C43 was MB/AMG's best attempt for the W202 being a E36 M3 competitor, as it had more power and stiffer suspension than the C36. Similarly, the C55 was MB/AMG's best attempt for the W203 being a E46 M3 competitor, as it also had more power and stiffer suspension than the C32. On a long high speed track like the Ring, you're right that laptimes will tend to favour cars with high HP as there are plenty of "straights" which allow those high HP cars to shine, but it is more of a generalization than a rule. With regards to the handling in isolation, there is no evidence that the W202 C43 is superior to the W203 C55. Skidpad grip and slalom speeds all favour the C55 when looking back at test results (like from Road & Track). And when you look at laptimes around a "short" track like Hockenheim, the W203 C55 is almsot a full second faster than the C43 AMG (1:18,6 vs 1:19,5) according to Sport Auto which used the SAME DRIVER when testing the cars. And if you really do know about laptimes, a full second would be considered a "significant difference" on such a short track, where the benefits of high HP are really negated. Your comment about "less than 5 seconds differnence" really is way out there. In fact, if you consider 5 seconds or less being "close" on a short track, then the C55 with street tires is "close" to a CLK63 Black Series with R-compound tires at Hockenheim.

4) And "canyon runs or carving" is not the same as lapping on a proper track. I do track my cars on twisty tracks/circuits......short slow speed ones and also longer high speed ones. If you drove your car to the point of cracking your rims, I suggest you either slow down before you hurt yourself/others and get some more experience tracking your car at proper lapping days. PROPERLY DRIVEN, pushed to the limit cars should not experience rim failures like that unless your rims were damaged to begin with.

I like those words of wisdom. Great job

Now, concerning the quote:
"If you drove your car to the point of cracking your rims, I suggest you either slow down before you hurt yourself/others and get some more experience tracking your car at proper lapping days. PROPERLY DRIVEN, pushed to the limit cars should not experience rim failures like that unless your rims were damaged to begin with"
having raced Porsches in the past, I have NEVER seen something like that happen except in case of an accident or mechanical failure. However, use , of cheaply made alloy rims, or perhaps a flawed rim could make this happen. I certainly would not want to experience that at high speed.

Time and time again we've tried to hammer ALL these facts into this kids brain but it doesn't register. Everything you posted will be ignored and unread. The lights are on but no one is home.

My friend I see 335i's here in Miami like roaches, everywhere. I've had the chance to race a couple of them when I was stock and after the tune. Back when I was stock, I raced one rolling from 50 and pulled like 8 cars on him in Mexico.... In other words, that 335i you raced was NOT stock

It couldn't of been or the C63 driver isn't that good.... The C63 is about a second faster in the 1/4mile and same with 0-60 so I fail to see how the 335I would stand a chance vs the beast that is the C63

I'm the guy with the 996TT using Justin Wrooks account. I have never, ever raced PJ in his C43. I don't see a reason for both of us wasting our time. Turbo lag ? Supercharger lag ? That 'friend' is also my 'friend' and when we drag race, and we have- he dosen't seem to think I have turbo lag, but i guess his supercharger also has lag so..

I'm sorry PJ but WOW really ? If you really want to drag race me. Let me know. It's not going to be pretty. Maybe the only 'few seconds' you can keep us is the 3 honks.

Also stop bragging about your c43. My old *** w126 euro spec had 12 less horpsepower than your c43 and 20 more lbs of tq, and it was 20 years older. It had better brakes then your car.

Hello Enrique. I knew it. Something was fishy as PJ claimed his C43 was even with ur tt for few seconds. I did not even have problem with slk32 mod.
So PJmax, you made this up from thin air then.
