C36 Check Engine Lights, no one seems to know??
I have a C36 that runs perfectly however a few months ago a check engine light came on. The dealer cleaned out the EGR tube? or something along those lines. I have driven the car for over 500 miles since. The check engine light has not come back on but the readiness computer keeps getting hung up at the catalytic converter. Is my cat bad or is it something else? If it is my cat, where do I get a new one. The dealer told me $6,000!! Won't a universal work? Thank you for your help. I am sure someone has been through this.

Where do you live?
Most states allow 2 not ready for your year.
Have you tried the drive cycle procedure to see if you can get the cat ready in the i/m readiness
