Looks nice and I like the square part in the middle to put your spanner when adjusting

are these camber arms light weight or heavy?
do they feel solid?

I red sellers information on his ebay auction, it says these camber arms are not for street use and might be illegal if used on the car?
I don't get it?
These rods aren't they approved for street use?
I have copied the text.

Product use
These camber arms are intended for off-road use only and might not be legal for street use. It is your responsibility to determine the applicability of local, state, and federal laws and your compliance with those laws prior to using the camber arms on any vehicle that is driven on the street.

They feel extremely solid and the manufacturer states they are lighter than stock, I really don't care about the weight. As far as the illegal to use bit, I am not sure they are illegal in Oregon but I really don't care either. Have you ever had a cop check out your suspension components? Not sure about Europe but cops around here could care less about that stuff.

Hm. My car is pretty low and I still don't have uneven wear issues. Maybe if I see some pop up later this summer ill purchase this. Let us know how it feels. With my spacers off, the camber looks a little worse but when they were on it was straight as could be. I gotta get those spacers back on asap!

I ask if they are legal because of government vehicle inspections!
Every year I have to take my car to this test facility and they are going to give my car a pass for another trouble free year driving on the streets or bust me and say FIX it, or you're in trouble and the car gets a BAN slip forbidden to drive!
We don't want that!
If they say NAY camber arms are illegal, if they say JAY then alles gut, rite?

About the weight, I'm asking because they are made of aluminium.
And alu. is light, it needs a certain strenght not to break!

Hey Kowalski,
I have the same problem, but the test here is every 2 years for cars of that age. I will try and get my 43 through the next time (April or May 2012) with the "drumsticks" and as I'm nice and specially for you (and others of course) I will weight the Speedybenz arms tonight. The results of course will be in kilograms, but you are all old enough to be able convert to your weird non decimal weights

Thank you kindly Sir doing this for me and putting them on your scale.
We also use the (KG) kilograms.
1000g is 1kg = jayyyyyyyyy.

vehicle inspection every 2nd year, fooooooook me that's awesome not having to be robbed for your hard earned cash every year like I am being ripped off by the government every year!

I thought you had your camber arms installed already?

Wow. We don't have inspections at all.

The only inspections would be for cars coming from outside the province, or if one is switching insurers and you have an older car, the insurer may require a cursory inspection.

So, the super Speedybenz "drum stick" including spacers weighs in at 0,917kg a piece I will weigh the standard MB arm when I remove one to compare, but that will be later when it gets warmer...

Try VAT of 25% and customs of 4.5% for auto parts and you will sheeeeeeet in your pants!
That's what I have to pay if and when I get busted!

We do not have inspection here but we do have emissions (DEQ) that you have to pass every 2 years...

UPDATE:
I have acquired all of my parts needed for my suspension except spring pads but the local MB dealership is just 5 minutes away from me so that won't be an issue. Here are pics of what I am installing:

Suspension for C43-img_0338.jpg

Suspension for C43-img_0339.jpg

Suspension for C43-img_0340.jpg

I am just waiting for a weekend where I don't work and it doesn't rain (seeing how I work ALL the time as well as it rains ALL the time it might be a while )

One question I have is should I get an alignment right away or wait a week or two for the suspension to settle. I have read a lot about this and it seems there is conflicting info out there, I figured I would ask here as I trust you guys more than any other forum out there.

I will keep you guys posted as well as post before and after pics.

Personally, I would install, drive around a bit and get a first alignement. Then get it checked again and fine tuned after a couple of 100km driving.

Good Stuff!!
I intalled KW V2s about a month ago and the kit is little on the soft side for my taste, and the rear spring hat/cup needed to be cut to make the rear height adjustable....which I didn't. I'm lucked out, because I'mjust using #4 pads on the rear and the height is perfect.I just didn't expect cutting crap out of the car from $1850 kit.... KW makes nice product but I guess W202 were a little neglected...

I have been thinking that I might as well go ALL OUT on the suspension and replace everything that I can. Any suggestions on what else I should get and where I can get it?? I'm talking about bushings, control arms, etc... I really want to refresh the suspension to get the maximum performance while maintaining a smooth ride, this is my DD after all and probably won't see any track time.

Keep in mind I already have new springs, shocks, rear adjustable camber arms, spring pads, and the front K-MAC camber/castor kit.

you need the complete rear track arm kit.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MERCE...Q5fAccessories

and the bottom solid arms if you wanna go stiff again.
http://www.autohausaz.com/search/ima...2023500206.jpg

I found front KMAC kit to be sold on Flebay @ $359 dollars.
Is it chepaer to buy them from Ebay or directly from Kmac?

From K-Mac the kit is $380 but its the shipping that gets you. They ship from australia so getting to the states isn't cheap.
