I've only checked the front box but it says its for both W202 and W208.
Hope I answered your question!! good luck!!
Right, I figured as much but I wanted to double check.

I found the complete rear FBI BILSTEIN kit on german flebay for €219 juros.
I wonder if it would be cheaper to buy those FEBI arms separately W/O the upper camber arm and then also go for MB Arts adjustable camber arm.

sway bar bushings

Please call for more information. I currently own a 98 C43 with 71,000 miles. It has eibach springs and koni shocks and sits a little low for my driving style. I bought new spring pads from mercedes before I realized they were the same size already in my car. If you do covert to a differant spring I would be interested in the origanals. 503 658-8371

how difficult is it to replace the front subframe bushings?
I see they are bolted by a screw and a nut.
http://uk.mbspecialist.com/mercedes_...0/1243506408O/

is it necessary to remove lots of parts on the car to access these bushings?
Can they be chiseled out or is it necessary to use a press tool machine to take them out?
are they 2 or 4 bushings on front axle?

I got the impression that it wasn't too difficult to install the subframe bushing. As far as how many there are, autohaus says 1 kit per car which looks like 2 bushings...

I believe there are four bushings on the rear subframe to where it bolts onto the chassis. There are two more that hold the diff in place. Kochtools.com has a tool for the diff bushings.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it's going to be that easy to do those bushings. While the bushings themselves may be cheap, I think you're going to have to drop the whole subframe off the car to replace the bushings. And doing that means removing the diff and the axles too.

The Kochtools.com tool looks like it's made to remove the diff bushings without having to drop the subframe, but you'd still need to remove the diff to get at them. And even if you can chisel out the subframe bushings, you will most likely need a press to press the new ones in. The one bolt (per bushing) holds the subframe to the chassis, it doesn't bolt the bushing into the subframe.

I'd check the WIS for instructions to be sure though.

Edit: I just checked out the Klann tools website. They make a tool - part number KL-0356-11 - which allows removal and replacement of all four subframe mount bushings, plus the diff mounting bushings too, and they say you don't need to remove the rear subframe to do it either. But the kit uses a hydraulic cylinder to do the hard work. I think they have a kit without the cylinder though. If you don't wanna buy the tool, probably best to head to a specialist who already has the tool.

Here's the Koch Tools item:

Hey Saabo.
Your reply was for the rear axel,
my question was for the front axle, if it's an easy change for these subframe bushes?
is it needy to remove several parts from the front axle to axess the front sub bushes?

Dude, that link you posted is for the subframe bushings on the rear subframe, nearer to the front of the car (as opposed to the bushings on the rear subframe nearer to the back of the car), ie. front of the subframe, back of the subframe.

On the front of the car, the control arms bolt to the chassis directly, as do the engine mounts.

Yeah man, it refers to the front of the subframe, not the front of the car.

I don't know either and I have been looking around with no success for the moment. I would also like to know.
Weird as the rear measurements says nothing for rear camber

I have been quite happy with my last alignment numbers, if you go to my 'build' thread, I scanned the sheet, it's in there somewhere.

I never posted them, I had the shop align it based off of the stock C43 aligment specs set by AMG.

One thing is for sure, I was WAY off of stock specs to begin with (probably due to needing an alignment for a while combined with the 19" rims I installed). I went and had my tires balanced 4 days ago and the difference is like night and day, the ride is SOOOO smooth now. I should have balanced the tires right after the alignment.

If you like I can post my alignment specs later when I get home.

Did the stock factory specs and new specs for adjustable camber arms for the C43 show up on your sheet?

Your car was it set to stock factory numbers for your new camber arms when alignment was done?

They set my car on the alignment rack and documented where my settings were at at that time, then they set the alignment to the factory C43 specs. On my alignment sheet is shows where I was at, what the stock C43 specs are, and the alignment specs after they had adjusted everything.
