Video of 'K&N filters on highway.

So here is the video of highway "passing speeds" I made last night. I really have seen a change, it just keeps climbing...

Wow... 145 MPH is faster than I care to go (I topped out at 130 MPH in my C43, in mexico of course) but it definitely didn't seem to want to stop pulling. 80 to 145 MPH in 26 seconds.... Nice video

True, to find a stretch of road or highway where you can check this without ending up in jail is pretty tough. Guess I'll have to wait to get the chance to cross over into Germany and some unlimited autobahns

Texas isn't good for much but we sure do have some very long, very deserted highways.

Haven't pushed it that far yet. Things get pretty wild in the 140's so I think I need to refresh a few front bushings before I try and push it any harder. Doesn't shake or anything but it also doesn't feel as secure as it does in the 120's.

I have heard that our C43's get scary in the 140+ mph range which is odd as I have had mine to 130mph and it felt like I was doing 80 mph...

Don't know but I have read a couple people say the same thing about 140+ mph getting scary and I would be surprised if all of them had bad alignment... My car tracks a little to the right and like I said before 130 MPH felt like 80 MPH, it felt so smooth when I looked down at the speedo I was BLOWN away that I was at 130 MPH and QUICKLY let my foot off the gas as I am really not into top speed but more into getting up to speed quickly.

+1 a wrong alignment can cause some very scary moments at higher speed

Mine hasn't been done for about 6 months. Don't think its off... The front end needs more down force, it starts to float at 140. Maybe a lip could put some more traction down.

i think that car is owned by 23k. he was a member of club202 before the site shut down. he's now on mymbonline.com.

its a 5 speed c230 turboed. i think he's trying to sell the car atm, or thinking about it. if he does, im buying his stoptech kit and lumma bumper.
