Attn. Euro owners
Just curious, 
but I am spending some time in England over Christmas, and I noticed that on all the 202s ive seen here, the side markers (clear for europe, some amber) aren't illuminated when the headlights are on. In the US from what Ive seen on my car and others, the corner light is on with the parking (city) lights, and/or the headlights are switched on, and they also blink for the turn signal. Why would that be different on a euro spec car and only be the blinker signal? Or are all the silly Brits just too lazy to change their corner marker bulbs

The United States Department of Transportation (DOT) is the governing body that determines the color of the side marker lamps, and under what circumstances they are illuminated in the United States. Other countries have other governing bodies. As an aside, The Department of Transportation was established by an act of Congress and their first official day of operation was April 1, 1967 - April Fools Day.

Hmm, interesting. Thank you marcus. I just still don't get why some are the same though. Many others cars (bmw 5 for example) have the equivalent cornet lights illuminated. Odd.
