Why does my front drivers side wheel?

In my opinion it could be several possibilities: faulty spring pad, faulty spring holder (top side) about to shear, bushings needing some lubricant (try spraying some silicon inside), sway bar bushing.... suspension or steering ball joint (knuckle), etc. In any case, its not normal and needs some looking into pronto.

the ticking popping soound is from your exhaust being hot as hell!
tick tick ticking!
this is normal and so does my car sound after I have being out driving.
when I drive over uneven ground and all the other wheels sound fine but just this wheel sounds so creaky... I got under the car this past weekend to look for it and all the bushings looked the same on both sides... Its starting to drive me freaking nuts. Its also made the same sound while I was jacking the rear end up to remove my wheel spacers. Sounds like metal on metal... Any ideas???

I had a nasty creaking noise on larger bumps or major compressions in the road, left front wheel area too. I thought I was rubbing the fenders, but it wasn't - I looked and looked. The noise disappeared after my new KMac lower control arm bushings were in and properly torqued.

I believe it is from the springs, I can make the sound everytime I get out of my car.

how can your springs still creek when you get out of your car?
the metallic noize comes from the exhaust after you have been driving your car so the heat tinkers inside the tubes.
if this is not the noize you're talking about then you've might got a zerious problem with your car.
on wehicle inspections, older MB's like w124 had broken front springs without telling you they are broken, only way to see this is by vehicle inspections or servicing the car

also, majorly squeaky rear seat area that i can't diagnose! sorry,
, but i just had to throw that in there!

for instance you get out from a tight parking lot.
you need to max the steering to the right or left to get out, power steering is making noise it's normal.
it does that to either right or left side when turning steering to the max end.
mechanics use vaseline to grease the ends of the leather where they rub on each other to kill the noise, I mean endings of the folding part

So if this was the issue, would it explain why when the car it parked and I turn the wheel left to right quickly I hear a slight clunk noise??? Is there a DIY for our cars and do you happen to know the torque specs?
So if this was the issue, would it explain why when the car it parked and I turn the wheel left to right quickly I hear a slight clunk noise??? Is there a DIY for our cars and do you happen to know the torque specs? If the bolts are loose, and you turn left/right quickly, it may make a clunking noise as the steering box moves. The location of the bolts and their torque specs are listed here. (the W208 and W202 have the same spec) You don't need to fly me out, when you get to Manhattan Beach, just attend a Los Angeles Mercedes-Benz Club of America event. There is a Show and Shine next month (free), ehe 5th Annual Southwestern Regional Event at Borrego Springs Resort and Spa in March, and a Rallye in April. The events are at the website and on Facebook.
