Jerry from Eurocharged is Coming to Dallas soon!
So I got an email saying that with Jerry's tune ill see 27hp and 24trq.. He will be doing the tune at Autoscope and from what I understand, I get to see the before and after dyno results and watch him do the tune. https://mbworld.org/forums/s55-amg-s...ed-my-s55.html This is a link of a guy here in Dallas that had Jerry tune his S55. The cost is $550 and to me doesn't seem bad at all. What do you guys think?

Please post results... Eurocharged is what I plan on doing when I get my ECU tuned. I could of sworn that Jerry quoted me $450, I will have to check the email he sent me a couple months ago.

I can't find a bad review about Jerry or his tunes so I can't wait to see how it goes. Ive just got to make sure and have $550 laying around when they come into town!

Yup... I did a TON of research on a tune for my C43 and from what I found Eurocharged was the way to go as you gain the most HP/TQ for the least amount of money, not to mention like Austin said you can't find a negative review about Eurocharged.

A pre tune dyno measurement with a post tune dyno reading is the only "safe" way to go and proof of the work and upgrade done.

thats not exactly true. predyno and post dyno will show the torque and hp inc that can be had. but datalogging is the only safe way to moniter what the engine is doing. wideband O2 sensor for loggs are more accurate than the sniffer in the tailpipe. its best to logg before the tune then after while the ecu adapts

it appears he may of quoted you higher numbers as well as a higher price. You should contact him again and see why there is a discrepancy...

Here's what he sent me
"We had a C36 on the dyno for 2 days.
These are crank numbers with 93 octane. *The wheel numbers were 19whp / 14wtrq.
Timing, fueling, rpm limiter, and speed limiter are modified.
The cost is $599.

it isnt a chip from anyone. its a change in the files in the ecu. jeremy from oetuning has a very good reputation for his tuning skills. its a personal choice that many have had to wrestle with. i also use jerry's tunes and will continue to support him.

I just got a notice from the IRS that my tax refund should be here in time for this. Lets hope so because I don't want to put this on credit or move money out of savings. If I do miss this event, I guess I will be forced to drive down to Houston the next week or weekend to get it Dyno tuned there?? Either way, this is going to be done in the next two weeks and ill have video and pictures of the runs and results for everyone!
