sorry for the iphone pics I'll do some better pics when the car comes out.

UPDATE:
Just dropped my car off to have the suspension installed, FINALLY!!! Unfortunately I am an idiot and totally spaced picking up the #4 and #5 spring pads, I ran down to the dealership and of course they do not have them so I ordered them, they are supposed to be here by Friday. I am positive if I do not have the #4 and #5 spring pads I am going to rub (I am guessing I am going to rub even WITH the #4 and #5 spring pads.) Plus I am not looking for the slammed look just a slightly more aggressive stance with less wheel well gap.
hopefully on Friday I will post pics

my 2011 mod plan is to get a C63. i love the C43, though, so i think i'll hang on to that one as well.
UPDATE:
I should be picking my C43 up today from the shop that is installing my suspension as long as there are no other issues (had a bolt break off on the RF sway bar mount, had to drill it out) they come across (crossing fingers, knock on wood, etc...) I am having them set the alignment to as close to stock as possible. I will keep you guys updated and post pics as soon as I can.
I was planning on doing the exhaust next but I think I am going to do the front rotors and pads next as they are @ about 25%. I am going to go with slotted rotors and have them cryo treated and I am going to use Akebono brake pads.
Where can I pick up some slotted rotors for the C43??

I should have the newest suspension on any C43 out there, I literally tried to replace EVERYTHING (if you count each piece individually I am replacing 56 suspension parts) Originally Posted by Frank Castle

Now it's on to the brakes, then the exhaust, and then the ECU tune. After that I think the mods on the C43 will be trailing off as I save up for my next AMG MB World Stories

In reference to the ECU tune. Has anyone found a "sprinter" or tweak that can adjust the delay in the gas pedal?
Quote:
Eurocharged tune claims to reduce/eliminate delay as I am sure most of the other tuners claim as well. I do know that several people with the Eurocharged tune said that it reduced/eliminated the lag but none of those people have a C43...Originally Posted by Frank Castle

I am picking my car up @ 5pm today!!! I only had 2 issues (that I never really noticed to begin with)
1.) broken bolt on the front right sway bar mount
2.) 1 rear sub frame bushing was failing
Everything is installed although they may not be able to do an alignment for me until Monday so I might go to Les Schwab to get an alignment.
PICS SOON!!!!

UPDATE:
Just got back from driving around and all I can say is WOWOWOWOW!!!
1.) rides smoother than stock
2.) handles WAY better than stock
3.) NO RUBBING!!! I took a bunch of highway runs and hit up some side streets I know of that are pretty rough and I was intentionally trying to get it to rub and couldn't (I have 235's up front and 265's in the rear
) I could actually fit a much wider tire in the rear no problem as there is close to 1/2" between my tire and the fender. The front would need to be rolled a little more and I could fit a wider tire up front if I wanted to.
They were able to do the alignment and I had them set the specs to as close to stock as possible, I will post my alignment sheet later (some of my specs were WAY off before the alignment).
Only issue I have is it is a little lower than I wanted but I can live with that.
Here is a quick pic I took right after I washed her, I will snap some photos with my cannon and post them later

503....looks great! Now I regret not getting the Vogtlands....I'll have to see the stance with H&R's.

THANKS!! I totally recommend the Vogtlands. I just got back fromm another little drive and I can't believe the difference in handling, like night and day!!! I can take corners so much faster and my *** end isn't trying to slide out. I thought I loved my C43 before...Originally Posted by mbsickness

Great job and congratulations
I assume that's what you can expect when you change ALL the suspension parts. Guess that's what I will also be doing when I get my KW suspension

congrats bud.
car looks more hot now.
what is the wheel gap on front/rear, how many fingers?
Mine is 2 fingers on rear and almost 1½ fingers up front.
I bet yours is even lower than mine with standard euro AMG springs!

Did you inspect your tirewear before the alignment?
Any funky wear?
Did the alignshop have difficulties to adjust rear camber arms into correct specs?
Only thing for you to do is to get real AMG rims in silber color as a contrast to black beauty.
Happy motoring

2.) the front is like a 1 finger gap and the rear is less
3.) The shop complimented me on the rear adjustable camber arms, they said they were a great product and easy to adjust
I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I was afraid that I was going to rub but I definitely will not rub in the rear and unless the front tire is compressed to the max it won't rub either. I am still thinking about having the front fenders rolled a little more just for piece of mind but like I said in my earlier post I took the car out and tried to get it to rub and couldn't

yeah, I'm happy for you bud!
about rubbing issues?
did you load your car with heavy stuff in the trunk or passengers in the cabin?
you might get rub issues if you try this?
now you have to be car(e)full when you enter parking places and hitting that low front spoiler on end curbs

Question: Do you still run with your 19"?

Yup, I kept all of the stock suspension parts and loaded them into the trunk. They weighed around 70 lbs plus I had a full tank of gas. I have had people in the back seat twice since I bought the car, usually if I am planning on carting people around I use my honda.Originally Posted by kowalski

Hi Winks, Can you explain why your front six pots are sitting so high in the wheel? I don't understand why, not unless the fixture to the hub is very different than standard. Thanks.Originally Posted by winks911

The reason the calipers are sitting in that position,is these calipers are quite large and if they were to sit in original position it will hit the sway bar if you look at Money one install you will understand why the sway bar mount and bar had to be cut.
Brembo made a custom bracket for the C43 that fits perfect and just PLUG AND PLAY.
They cost quite a bit but they figured this out. The position does not affect the performance just the look.
BTW the bracket only comes in a kit.
Each pair of brackets they sell is attach to your name by serial number.

So with the lowered stance and 19's - what kind of road conditions rough you up? Do you have to be on alert for potholes and stuff?
