Now I have 3 cars and 1/2 my tax return to spend on whatever I want, so I figured I would put the $$$$ to good use

I decided to go to a shop to have everything installed as it would take me at least 1-2 weeks to install everything plus I don't have all of the right tools not to mention I am the "I want it now" kinda guy. I am awaiting their quote, I should have it by early next week. The shop I am taking my C43 to is a kleemann dealer/installer and I have already talked with them about the kleemann headers so if the suspension install isn't too ridiculous I should be able to get the headers installed as well, I HOPE!!!
When I had my Kmac front camber kit installed, I was charged 5 hours labor. Of course they also did the speedybenz rear kit at same time. My shop charges $110/hr. Yes it's a bit pricey, but I'm in California, and the shop is a Mercedes specialty shop.

This will bring my suspension list up to :
  • New Bilstein shocks ($320)
  • New Vogtland springs ($275)
  • New Drag link ($150)
  • New Front lower control arms ($370 for both)
  • New Rear control arm kit ($240)
  • K-Mac front camber/castor kit ($480)
  • MB Arts adjustable camber arms ($325)
  • New Ball joints ($75 for 2)
  • New Rear sway bar links ($25 for 2)
  • New steering damper ($27)
Total = $2,287 (Man what an expensive hobby!!! )

I will post pics of everything once the new parts arrive
why do you need new front lower control arms? don't you just replace the bushings on the control arms?

I just want to replace everything on the suspension, nothing wrong with my control arms besides the fact that they are 12 years old.

After trying to install SLK55 front calipers it was starting to be a nightmare
I decided to go the BREMBO route it worked out to be 5200. cdn for the front.
Now I can start the hunt for a good 5.5

Very, very nice indeed Did you have any problems or have to do any modifications to install the six pots? Are those 18" rims?
Thanks for the info

Great! I assume the rotors are 355mm? What did you do on the back end?

Yes they are 355mm
As for the oem I'll send them out to powder coat shrink wrap them and keep them in the trunk of my other car during winter so I can get some extra traction.

As for the back end I already did the Slk55 rear brake install, i am debating on going oem Brembo, seeing that 70% of the braking is done by the front and this as good as it gets, I'll upgrade the pads to ebc and use the funds for my 5.5 upgrade.

Just got the quote to install my suspension and it is cheaper than I thought it would be, I am now seeing if I can work a deal on installing the kleemann headers . All goes well I should have my suspension installed next week and MAYBE the kleemann headers as well. I am unsure if they have dyno so I inquired and I await there response, sure would be convenient

After getting us all drooling and wet, what are your impressions with the results of this set-up (brake wise of course...)

woo! I'm excited.
I've been following your suspension project for a long time, taking notes haha, and it's almost there!

finish it and you'll have the best handling C's of all time!

also, get the headers!

UPDATE:

The shop that is installing my suspension has given me my quote and we are in the middle of working out when I am going to drop off my car. Because of the multitude of suspension parts I am replacing they are asking to have my car for 2 days. We have been discussing a new exhaust (kleemann headers, all SS piping, high flow cat, x pipe, y pipe, stock AMG muffler) and they are going to quote me on the new exhaust when I have my car in to get the suspension installed. I should be able to drop off my car next week...

Any suggestions as far as exhaust goes?? I want maximum power but at the same time I want to pass DEQ and NOT throw any CEL's. Keep in mind that I am definitely going with the kleemann headers everything else is up in the air for now...
