What are you 2011 Mod plans?

So I have narrowed my endless list of mods down to the three I want to do for this year. 1. Weight reduction 2. X pipe and exhaust 3. Eurocharged Tune. So who has done a custom quad exhaust on our cars? I think it looks great but it is good for function also?

any competent muffler shop can fab up a dual exhaust. i would use stainless steel mandrel bent tubing for good flow and long life.

mods for 2011 include wavetrac lsd, massive brake upgrade, needswings exhaust and possibly a respray

I've got some Stoptech stainless brakelines coming, along with a set of S500/CL500 4 piston calipers, which will be mated to SLK32 rotors (fingers crossed it will be fine, even though the rotor diameter is slightly smaller than stock). Once I've installed the supercharger to my S2000, then I will turn to the 5.4L engine swap. I'm also going to continue replacing a few of the suspension pieces - now down to the sway bar bushings and links. Also have a set of the SLK pedal covers to go on. I'm also gonna snag a pair of 3mm spacers for the fronts, to ensure the 18" Monoblocks clear the 4 pot calipers.

Professionally? 1000 + hp biturbo Mercedes.

Personally? 10-second pass in the ML.

I already have almost all of the suspension components (rear camber arms and pads = $350). Windows = $300 and ECU tune = $450. It's the exhaust that's gonna be $$$$$$$$$$$$. The only thing I really spend my money on is my cars.

I'll start posting more shop cars soon. My daily driver is a minivan (that's what happens when you're 30, have a kid, buy furniture, etc.) but that'll give way to a few-years-old ML here, shortly, and I have a box of super-secret parts fixin' to go into it.

Not sure. Have the motor, but I want to play with it a bit before I put it in. We'll see what happens. I have quite a few other priorities to take care of this year.

I couldn't agree more! I think it looks like it should have been made that way... I wonder if it would make it louder? I also want to try and find a lip spoiler like the one on the w211 E63... Does anyone know where I could find the roof spoiler, like the one on C55's car?

That rear view is amazing! And its just a bumper cover, I don't think the stock cover is all that nice IMHO... If its worse than that then yikes.

The mirror is said to have decent light dampening so you don't loose the function of the 43's mirror if anyone has clear windows still.

The bumper still needs to be painted so depending on the quote from the bodyman I may go with duraflex.

Hmm interesting! I already have a Bosch HID kit waiting in a box which I also had on my previous 202 and they seemed fine.

Yeah, I had some ebay crap on my car when I bought it, it worked when it wanted to, then I went with some other odd brand that a few C36 guys had no problems with but mine exploded on my C43. So OhLord has been telling me about these bulbs for years and I finally took his word for it. I should have listened long ago, would have save me a lot of time and money.
