Sway Bar for c43
So I went to the dealership today and asked for a front and rear sway bars. He asked me what my vin is and I didn't have it in hand. I drive a 1999 C280 and he offered me two models of sway bars for the front and two models for the rear both are for the c43 and there was a difference in price for about 200 for the front and 100 for the rear. Now can a c43 owner check with the dealership and tell me the part number that is on your mercedes and of course tell me the differrence between two. Also If i go with an aftermarket one which will be eibach, it's the same as the one that c43 has stock. Is the c43 one adjustable?

I don't know my swaybar part number, but if you want my sway bars front and rear its yours for $200+ shipping.
I also have c43 resonator and exhaust pm me if you want them.

There are two sets of MB part numbers for C43 sway bars. Both sets were used in North American C43s. The fronts are 2023235665 and 2023235065. The rears are 2023261065 and 2023261165.
I know because those are also CLK parts.
2023235065 is a front bar for a CLK55. 2023261065 is a rear bar for a CLK without sports suspension. Don’t take it the wrong way and start looking for CLK430 or CLK55 rear bars. The W208 sports bars may fit, but they may produce undesired results in a W202. Here’s a short write up on sway bars that may better explain why CLK sports bars in a W202 may have odd results. Of course, they may work great, but I don't know of anyone who has tried.
Note: If you decide to test CLK sports bars, please post your results. To help you on your way, all US spec CLK55 and CLK430 sway bars are sports bars, but that's not necessarily true of ROW vehicles. OE CLK430 rear sports bars are different than OE CLK55 rear bars. I hope that helps.
