Opinions on shifter...
hey guys,
i am just changing up my interior a bit and was wondering what you guys think about the shifter knob i just picked up..yay or nay?
original:
stock c43/g-wagen v8 badge
new:
06 s430 shifter/black bezel
06 s430 shifter/chrome bezel
....i am leaming towards the s430 shifter w/black, but at the same time the other options are pretty good too

S430 with chrome. Where are you located? I see the Asia/middle eastern builder badge. just curious because I don't really know what the C43 US spec shifter looks like, but the V8 shifter you have looks just like the C36 but with the "c36" changed for the "V8"

i got the s430 shifter off of a wrecker here locally... not bad for free 
i am in Calgary AB Canada. That is the stock c43 shifter but i changed the badge from "sport" to V8, the badge is an ebay special haha...
sooo so far i got one vote for each option...niceeee

I like both solutions, but I would prefer a knob with the AMG "fruit tree" badge on it That would be class, but it may clash with the stick on badge on the ash tray

How about hooking me up with the seller you got the emblem from? I have never seen those available and you can't get them from Mercedes either.

I took the v8 emblem off of a severally wrecked g55 amg years ago and kept it cause it was cool looking... Just so happened that I recently bought my c43 and it ended up fitting perfect 
I think it will be really tough finding another one, but there should be more wreck g-wagons around

I got this shift knob I haven't had any time to giggle with it yet but I'm sure there's a way to fit this. My interior is Black/Blue and I have blue stiching everywhere in the car (even my shift knob is black and blue), so I think it will match well.
Even though its not AMG or Mercedes, I think this will match my interior when I get all trims do in CF.
Does that logo on CF look familiar??
