how long did you have your car?
check when the transmission oil was changed last time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if it's old, change it asap!

hey thx for the responses, but unfortunately i do not have a c43. the reason i am asking is because i am doing a 55 swap on my s430. I wanted to verify that we have the same transmission so when i do my swap i will not run into any unknown problems. it is more difficult for me because not a lot of people play with their S's. its very useful though that our cars are very similar so im using the swap thread a lot!

Check your VIN which type of transmission you have on your car, maybe it's the 722.631 same on C43 or a better one 722.6?? = S55AMG???
w210 uses 722.636 transmission and it's better than our C43 transmissions
