On my way back to my house I was stopped at a stop light and I heard someone saying something. I looked over and it was some guy who appeared to be in his late 40's asking me to turn my music down. The first thought I had was FU(K this guy thinking that he was going to complain that I had my music to loud or something along those lines but I decided I was going to turn the music down and see what he had to say. First thing he says is "you don't see many of those around, cool car", which completely caught me off guard. I told him there were around 1200 of them imported to the states and as I am telling him this I notice he is in an E36 M3 I tell him I have always loved the E36 M3 platform and he then motions to the "for sale" sign he has posted on the window. I laughed and told him I would of bought it before I purchased my C43 but I am FAR past the point of no return and am AMG addicted, he laughed at the "AMG addicted" comment. The light goes green and we drive our separate ways but I drive away thinking you know you have a cool car when one of the M boys gets your attention at a stop light to complement your car, I LOVE MY AMG!!!

A friend of me loves audi and Bmw, i took him for a little drive in my c36 he became veru quiet. Afterwars he said damn what a nice car.

My BMW/M3 (E36, E46, E9x) driving friends all have respect for my car, as it sounds like a monster, and is decently quick. Same goes for my friends with S13/14 Nissans, Audis, Toyotas, VWs, etc.


There is something about the V8 roar that calls for respect.
